Rider officially adds Durham as third member of 2018 class

Rider head coach Kevin Baggett officially announced Anthony Durham as the third member of his 2018 recruiting class.

Durham, a 6-foot-3 guard from Philadelphia, spent last season at Putnam Science Academy, helping it to a 29-5 record and the No. 5 national ranking among prep schools. Durham averaged 16.6 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game.

Prior to Putnam, Durham starred at Abington High School (Pa.), leading the Galloping Ghosts to the AAAA semifinals as a senior. He averaged 14.5 points and 7.3 assists per game.

The Broncs have already received NLIs from Trenton native Josh Williams, who played at Notre Dame and just completed a prep year at St. Thomas Moore and Kenny Grant, 6-foot-9, 235-pound forward from East Orange.

Williams, a 6-foot-6 forward, helped Notre Dame to the Mercer County Tournament championship in 2013, averaging 17.5 points and 10.6 rebounds.

Grant just finished his second year at the Hyde School (Conn.), averaging 15 points and 11 rebounds per contest.
